WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?

I take photographs and create still art because mainly because I enjoy the process. I’m a very hands-on creative and I’m not used to making in any other way. Constructing images using analogue processes allows me to step back and think both when shooting and editing, which allows me to make better decisions. In an age where everything is instant I prefer to wait, its more rewarding when you nail it.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

I’m inspired by the way physical infrastructure surrounds us in daily life. Mainly the relationships that between people and place and how the revolve around each other. Whether that be, the physical effects of musicians, skaters of street artists, the way communities’ impact the environment around them is often overlooked and really interesting. This is also driven by seeing others around me succeed. After all were all in the same game, we might as well support each other. The photographic community in Nottingham is really good for that, so big up everyone.

IF YOU COULD SHOWCASE YOUR PICTURES ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD IT BE?

Best contemporary space would be KÖNIG GALERIE in central Berlin. Best street spot would be Sneinton market, keeping it free for everyone. Top Dream spot might be a lowkey chill sesh on the top floor of the Tokyo Sky-tree in Japan.

IF YOU COULD PHOTOGRAPH ANY PERSON/ LANDMARK/ PLACE WHERE WOULD IT BE?

That kind of a tough question to be honest, il photograph anyone I can jam with and has respect for the arts. To throw a few names out there for people right now, maybe Tyler the creator, Kojey Radical and Tarantino because he’s a straight up G. Landmark or place would be to photograph some brutalist architecture around Poland and Russia.

COOKIE CRISP OR GOLDEN NUGGETS?

Got to go with Golden nuggets on this one, Cookie crisp never really had it all there for me + not feeling that weird chocolatey water like milk.
